Now that I have handed my project in, I figured it would be a good time to reflect on what I have accomplished with it.

Essentially I chose my topic as it is an issue I found important, as well as being a topic that would easily translate into a project. By focusing on university student’s thoughts on their courses and whether they felt they were getting value for money, I had a topic that could easily be filmed, with articles that would be easy to write.

When beginning this project, I wanted to hear the thoughts of other students. I wanted to know how people felt about their university studies, whether they thought about how much each class was costing them and, consequently, whether they were getting value for money. I aimed the site at university staff and students alike. And wanted this to educate each group what the other was thinking/feeling.

If I was to change the site, I would obviously want to get a teacher’s perspective. I focused on the students views, as it was managable in the time constraints that were present. By giving a teachers’ perspective, the site would then have the ability to educate both students and teachers and the pressures each group are under.

Having not completed a website and only deveeloping a brief, I cannot fully comment on the success it was and any changes I would make to it other than what has already been said. There definitely needs to be a teachers perspective and the absence of one really detracts from the overall feel of the site. Other than that, I feel that the site is a success, giving te views of students and approaching a topic that is often overlooked.
